Fog Lifting, Englishtown Ferry

The Englishtown Ferry (Torquil MacLean) is a cable ferry which crosses the mouth of St. Ann's Bay, carrying passengers from Englishtown to Jersey Cove. The quick ride across reveals stunning mountains and ocean views. Vsisitors will often see locals fishing off the shores of Jersey Cove, especially if a Mackerel Run is on. In my opinion, the experience of a short ferry ride is both a fun and unique way to start your tour of the Cabot Trail.
